When you appoint AutoMates to source your vehicle, you are not dealing with a car manufacturer or dealership. You are dealing with industry experts, who negotiate the best deal on any new vehicle, using our fleet status and strong relationships to leverage the best possible price.

We always pass on 100% of the discount directly to you, and simply charge a search fee of only $275.00 including GST (or $550.00 for luxury vehicles) where only vehicle sourcing is required - if we do not succeed in getting you a great fleet discount you pay no fees!

Where vehicle finance is arranged by us, the search fee may be absorbed by us, on a case by case basis.

 

Private sale purchases on used vehicles attracts an additional $500 fee to cover our time, paperwork and administration liaising and negotiating with the seller, vehicle inspection and local registration authorities.

As it is our policy to be up front in our fees, from time to time we may receive a referral fee from some dealers, which is generally derived from their marketing budget.

So How Does it Work?

 

1. You research and preferably test drive the vehicle/s on your short list
 

2. You are welcome to obtain a written quote from your dealer if desired - don't sign a contract yet! 

3. Contact us with the details of the final vehicle you'd like to buy - including any options and accessories (click below)

4. Pay AutoMates the relevant $275 or $550 sourcing fee (bank deposit)

5. We'll source the best discount possible based on our fleet buying power and call you with the numbers

6. If we're better by more than $275 (or $550 on a luxury vehicle) - usually significantly more - we can place the order for you through our dealer

7. In the event your price is better, you are welcome to order the vehicle from your own dealer with the comfort of knowing you got the best deal possible, and your fee will be refunded in full. You have nothing to lose... and possibly $1,000s to gain.
